Miles & Memories
Journeys through places, people and heritage.
Every journey leaves a story behind. This is a personal travel journal of places explored, stories discovered, and memories collected along the way.

Hello, I’m Kalyani.
I’ve always loved travelling, especially to places that carry stories of the past.
Old forts, beautiful temples, painted walls, traditional homes, local markets and handmade crafts have a special place in my heart. I often find myself spending more time admiring a carved doorway or an old painting than taking in the usual tourist attractions.
I’m also passionate about traditional Indian art, and many of my travels have become a source of inspiration for my own paintings.
Miles & Memories is my little space to document these journeys — the places I visit, the people I meet, the history I discover, and the moments I want to remember.
Not every journey is perfect. Some places surprise me, some disappoint me, and some make me wish I could stay a little longer. I want to remember them all.

Beyond the usual tourist spots
Sometimes, the most memorable part of a journey isn’t the famous monument.
It might be a centuries-old painting on a haveli wall, a conversation with a local artist, a beautifully carved wooden door, or a quiet moment beside a lake.
These are the details I love discovering. And these are the stories I want to share.
More miles. More memories.
There are still so many places I want to explore, stories I want to hear, and traditions I want to understand. This journal will grow with every journey.
Thank you for being part of it.
